FLIPPIN, AR – Measuring 17 feet, 6 inches and rated for 115 horsepower, the all-new Ranger Z117 is available with a wide range of precision-matched outboards and delivers the advanced fishability and best-in-class heritage of the Ranger Z Series for under $30,000. In addition to the low price tag, show-stopping great looks and Ranger’s well-known resale values, this boat and matching single-axle trailer can be easily towed with compact trucks and SUVs and will fit into most garages. Plus, the popular 115-horsepower designation consumes less fuel and oil – making the Ranger Z117 accessible to anglers who would otherwise be forced to purchase used boats or boats that lack Ranger’s reputation for quality and fishability.

“We challenged ourselves to build the biggest 17-foot boat out there and, when you see how much fishing and storage space this rig touts, it’s easy to understand how strong it performs – even when compared to so many supposedly larger 18-footers on the market,” said Ranger Boats Vice President of Sales, Keith Daffron. “Ranger’s legendary Z Series is in this boat’s DNA – you can see it and you can feel it when you’re fishing or powering across the water. It’s loaded with features that serious anglers expect from a Ranger.”

Featuring a racecar-inspired console with a full complement of gauges, the Ranger Z117 comes standard with a flush-mount, Lowrance Mark-5X Pro, Minn Kota Maxxum 55SC trolling motor and recessed foot pedal plus an onboard Dual-Pro charger. Electronics up to eight inches can be flush mounted at the console, while at the bow the boat can accommodate electronics up to five inches.

Outfitted with two custom-fitted SRS bucket seats in the cockpit and available with an optional third-seat cushion, the single-console Z117 features an insulated cooler in front of the console, runnin’ rod rack with strap on the portside as well as a notch on the starboard side of the console to accommodate longer fishing rods that are stored on the front deck. The back deck features an aerated livewell and two dry storage boxes, plus easy access to batteries, breakers and other components. Two anglers can easily fish from the spacious front deck, which is highlighted by dry storage on the starboard side; a center rod locker that accommodates rods up to 7 feet in length and a portside rod locker that accommodates rods up to 7 feet, 6 inches.

The Z117 also comes equipped with a competition steering wheel, flush-mounted remote throttle control, power trim, pultruded fiberglass transom, boarding ladder, custom marine carpet, lockable storage and a host of other features standard on all Ranger Z Series boats.

The Z117 comes paired with a custom-built, single-axle RangerTrail trailer. Designed to ideally match the boat for smooth, easy towing and maneuvering, RangerTrail trailers are equipped with Road Armor finish, LED lights; aluminum wheels and the COOL Hub lubrication system as standard equipment. Designed and built in the same factory to the same, exacting standards as all Ranger boats, RangerTrail trailers are custom aligned with individually balanced wheels, equipped with torsion axle suspensions and locking, swing-away tongues. With durable, stainless steel fenders and full-size spare, the Z117’s RangerTrail trailer delivers remarkable peace of mind when trailering and complements the striking good looks of the boat itself.
