EDENTON, NC – Regulator, known for fine offshore center console fishing boats, announces the Regulator 34' Center Console, the largest new model in Regulator’s fleet. Slated for official worldwide debut in the fall of 2012, the Regulator 34 leads the way in the company’s aggressive product expansion program and is designed to appeal to the serious angler who demands a top fishing platform with a wealth of fishing features.
“We are extremely excited about this new Lou Codega-design and like its sister ship the 34SS (Starboard Seater) we believe this new model will be a huge success in our market niche,” said Joan Maxwell, Regulator president. “Both our dealers and our customers have expressed strong demand for a larger true center console Regulator, so when we began our research and development initiative, we wanted to make sure this specific size and design would be exactly on target. Inch for inch, we believe this new 34 will deliver the best built, best equipped boat in its class.”
Like its predecessors, the New 34 retains its Regulator heritage. It is built tough with Regulator’s exclusive Fiberglass Grillage System, enabling it to stand up to the most punishing offshore conditions while delivering a smooth, solid and legendary Regulator ride.
According to Maxwell, this new model is unique by virtue of its advantages.
“It’s a true 34-foot sportfisher with an exceptionally large cockpit—the largest in its class, in fact—loaded with all the fishing features a dedicated angler would want. The Armstrong bracket allowed our designers to take back the transom, so the size of the boat rivals 39’ competitors. Since the motor mounts are pushed back, you maximize precious deck space, plus with the bracket mounted power the 34 gets the same performance with twin engines that our competitors use triples to achieve. The combination of its proven hull, enhanced cockpit space and beam, plus overall design characteristics all work together to give Regulator a real edge in this niche.”
Features designed to please the discriminating angler include above deck live well, transom fishbox, walk through tuna door and optional refrigerated transom fishbox. Plus amply sized console face has room for up to two 14-inch multifunction displays. Other homerun hits include an all-fiberglass, stand-up head and dedicated berth for sleeping or storage.
The 34’s frameless glass windshield and oversized fiberglass t-top provides great protection from the elements. A quad-battery electrical system and Yamaha Command Link Plus instrumentation round out a truly impressive equipment list for the new 34.
A boost of extra offshore confidence and power can be expected when you equip the Regulator 34’ with Yamaha V8, F350 outboard engines. These four-stroke motors utilize power steering and electronic controls, which make them highly maneuverable for their size and the ideal power plant for the new center console.Regulator’s line of 23- to 34-foot offshore sportfishing boats is recognized for quality craftsmanship and rugged durability. The company is a multi-year recipient of the National Marine Manufacturer Association’s Marine Industry CSI Award for customer satisfaction in the Fiberglass Outboard Boats category. For more on Regulator Marine Inc., visit www.regulatormarine.com.
