Apply for Boating Safety and Clean Water Grassroots Grants

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Community groups, nonprofits and grassroots organizations wanting to keep local boaters safe and waterways clean are eligible for grants for up to $4,000 each from the BoatUS Foundation's Grassroots Grants Program.  A total of up to $50,000 is available this grant cycle, which requires applications to be in by January 4, 2012.   Read Full Story

Brooklyn Center, MN – The 2011 State-Fish Art (SFA) Art of Conservation stamp was released during the 13th annual SFA Expo at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens, Texas. The young artist honored was Justas Varpucanskis, a talented seventh grader from Illinois. Last week, Lake Minnetonka Stamp Club member, Dick Westerling, visited Wildlife Forever’s headquarters and asked, “Can you spot the error on this stamp?” Staff couldn’t.   Read Full Story
