Do you remember your first time? I do. It was memorable. I was standing there in the bright morning sun, maybe a knee-deep in the ultra-clear water of West Grand Traverse Bay, off a rocky point, when I first saw the fish casually cruising around in gangs of three to a dozen or more, seemingly unaware of my presence.
